BBQ Days parade and fun!

We spent the day on Saturday getting to know our community a little better. Johnstown had their BBQ days so we went in the morning to the parade and the activities at the park. Travis' parents were able to come and we had a blast! Ethan's friend Kyle also joined us and helped keeps us hopping. The parade was a great small town parade with just about everyone involved in it! Maryn slept for a bit but the police sirens woke her up. She didn't have any problems with the loud noises, just hung out and took it all in!

Maryn slept right up until the police cars came past blaring their sirens. She didn't have a problem with the loud noises though!

Ready to ride the Chipmunk Express!

After the parade, we walked around and looked at all the fun booths of crafts and stuff in the community! It reminded us of Broomfield days but on a smaller scale!
That night we headed to the "Westward Whoa!" musical melodrama that was being put on. Quite a few people from our ward were participating so we headed to that. It was a lot of fun and they all did a wonderful job! Ethan especially was really enthralled with the play!
After the play they had a great fireworks show! Maryn slept through it all, even though we were very close and it was quite loud! I guess she was just pooped from all the day's activities. It was such a fun day and I'm so loving the small town feel of everything!!!
