On Wednesday we went to Haleakala and Lahiana during the day! It was amazing to drive up to the crater and go through little forests of trees. The road was very windy and full of hair pin turns! We kinda chuckled at the people at the top because they were all putting on coats and pants and warm clothes because they thought it was cold! It was only in the 60's so it wasn't too bad! The wind made it a little cooler but I was still fine in my capri's and t-shirt!
We had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe Maui and loved that we could sit in the booth and see out to the ocean and feel the breeze! Definitely one of my favorite Hard Rock's! We also walked up the board walk and did a little shopping before we headed back to Wialea.
That night was the awards banquet! It was pretty snazzy with lots of lights and assigned seats and everything! They announced all the winners and they each had to walk across the stage and shake hands with all the heads of the company! It was pretty cool! I'm very proud to have a husband who works so hard at his job!!! Love you hunny!
