So, as I promised! Here are a few pictures of Ethan and his first pinewood derby! He had a great time making his car and even though it didn't win he still had a good time at the race!

His car is the one that looks blue. They added some weight to it with painter's tape at the race so it could be a little more fair to the boys and all the cars weighed close to the same weight. Next year we'll have the tools we need to add the weight we needed!

They gave Ethan an award for Silver Lightning but his car was gold! Obviously they weren't paying too close attention! Oh well!

Ben is so sad that he just missed out on the Pinewood Derby. He is excited to do it next year and I'm sure his engineering dad will be happy to help out. I have no idea how to make it go faster, so it better not be left up to me.
