Lions, Tigers and.......

Monkeys???  Yes, monkeys!!!  Since yesterday was a holiday and Travis had it off we headed to the zoo.  We decided to go ahead and get a membership because it's a great excuse to get outside!  We didn't get there until the afternoon so we only spent a couple of hours walking around and only made it to probably a quarter of the zoo!  It sure is good we weren't there longer!  Kids were a little cranky and emotional by the end of the trip!  It was sure a blast though!  Here are a few pictures:

 Ashlynn was pretty funny!  She was thrilled to see the animals but then, when they moved she would kinda freak out and get scared!  It was pretty cute!  Both her and Gwen tried talking to all the animals they spotted and of course they didn't want to hold hands or ride in the stroller!  It was still a blast!

 Our last stop of the day was Monkey village!  So much fun to be so close to the little monkeys!  Gwen was thrilled and just wanted to get as close as she could.  She was very upset that she had to stay in my arms.  Here are a few pictures of the monkeys!
