Three for Thursday

I found a new blog that I love to read and she does a 3 for Thursday post so I thought it would be fun to do one too!  Hopefully I can keep it up!!  Anyway, here it goes!!!


Three of my favorite Pandora.com stations
1. The Oldies but Goodies (Remind me of You) radio
2. Laurie Berkner (Children's) radio (great for dancing with the kiddos!)

Three lessons learned since I have graduated from high school
1. Sometimes you really do use the math you learned in high school!
2. My parents knew what they were talking about more than I realized then.
3. It may be nice to know a lot of people in high school but the true friends are the ones who really knew what you were all about and are still your friends now.

Three people I was remembering on Memorial day
1. My mom

Three bad habits
1. Asking my kids to listen then not really listening to them when they ask me something.
2. playing bejeweled on FB too much!
3. eating jelly beans and chocolate licorice when I should be eating something healthy!

Three foods I will NEVER put in my mouth
1. alcohol of any kind
2. my son had a scorpion sucker once and he ate the candy part but I wouldn't even think of it!
3. Menudo

Three things that I don't love but are good for me
1.  Teaching Gospel Doctrine! (I'm getting better at it but I think I'd rather be teaching the Sunbeams like Travis!)
2. Going walking by myself so early in the morning!  It may be peaceful but I'd be more consistent if I had someone else to walk with.
3. Teaching my kids how to clean the bathroom!  I have a tendency to loose my patience but I know they should be doing it, not me! :)

Three plans for Father's Day 2011
1. Go to Stake Conference because for some reason, here, it is always on Father's day!
2. Remember being in labor with the twins on Father's Day 2009!
3. Wish I could do something that would truly show Travis how much he means to our family!

Three things that make me a "mean mom" (aka a GOOD mom)
1. I make my kids clean their room more than once a week!
2. I won't let them have dessert until they eat some sort of veggie or fruit


3. I limit their time on electronic games!
