The other night we had a crazy thunderstorm. The lightning looked like there were a million flashes going off at the same time right outside my window! It was crazy! A little disrupting since it came around 1am but the kids slept through it!
When we got up it wasn't even in the 80's yet so after breakfast we headed outside! We just wanted to enjoy the 70's in the sunshine but instead we got to play with snails! Ok, so we enjoyed the cooler temps too but the babies were so concerned with the snails that it was a little distracting!
The boys had a great time holding the snails and collecting as many as they could hold!
Gwen was concerned about the fact that the snails were moving on Ethan's hand!
The snails were everywhere, probably trying to find a nice cool wet spot to hang out because they knew the sun was coming at them soon!
I figured since the kids were entertained and we FINALLY had blossoms on one of our plants I'd play around with my camera!
This poor plant we thought had died but it came back! Hooray too because the flowers look like mini hibiscus flowers when they are open!
I love this bush because it's tall and sturdy and stays green all year long! It doesn't always have these cute flowers but it's always green!!
Aren't they cute buds too!
