So, on the 12th we got up extra early and packed everyone in the car for a VERY LOOOONG drive! We figured we'd do a full day of driving instead of splitting into two days of driving because we didn't want to have to deal with kids in the car more than one day!
Not the best idea! Oh well, we watched the sun come up in AZ and then watched it set as we left NM and headed into CO! It was a very long day but the kids did terrific!!
The next morning we woke up to beautiful CO sunshine and blue skies!!!
We couldn't have asked for better weather!!!
The first day we spent just hanging out with Nana and Papa at their house and enjoying the sunshine!!
The girls loved "rolling" rocks down the steep sidewalk on the side of the house!
Not to mention all the beautiful flowers that they were determined to pick!
I also got to spend the evening with a few of my sisters celebrating that Amanda and Spence get to welcome a sweet little boy to their family!!
