We started the month out with a great ward party complete with Santa and lots of food!
The girls were excited to see Santa, even if you can't tell by their faces! :)
The rest of the month flew by and all of a sudden it was Christmas Eve day and we didn't have any cookies ready for Santa! So we had to get busy and everyone helped with the decorating!
After the kids went to bed, we decided we needed to try to reduce any late night/early morning peaking by the kiddos so we tried this!
Unfortunately it didn't work and Cayden found his way through at the bottom without even breaking any! I guess next time we'll put bells and more noisy things on it!!!
Can you tell the kids are excited!!!
We tried to wait as long as we could without waking up the babies but it couldn't be helped! They had to be woken up but they were excited too!!
And, there is some of our Christmas! I'll post more about Christmas day and after in another post!

Lol! My parents used to do that too with tape, brooms, mops ... stuff like that to keep us from going downstairs. We figured out that if you held a mirror through the railing you could still see what was down there! :)
