It's that time of the year again!!!
Ethan did more of the work on his own car this year. I helped him cut it out but he worked really hard to get it smooth and ready for the skin.
At the Pit, getting the cars ready for the race!
The boys all had to wait at the finish line after their cars were placed at the start! Ashlynn was Ethan's shadow most of the time! She followed him everywhere! Bro. George (our scout master) called her the little cheerleader! Now if only we had some pom poms!!
I was impressed because these adorable pig tails stayed in all morning, until we got into the car after the race!
Gwen really enjoyed the treats Sis. George made!

The stop lights are frosted sugar cookies and the little cars are tiny milky way bars with teddy graham drivers! So cute!!!

Overall Ethan didn't really place but that was because he had a slow start the first round. By the end of the second round he was beating just about everyone, including the boy who took first place! They even did a bragging rights race after the official races and Ethan won! A HUGE step up from the last two years where he came in last or second to last! He was a great sport about it too!! It was a lot of fun!!
