Easter Pageant

The weekend we came down to AZ to look for a place to live was Easter weekend.  That weekend Travis and I drove over to the Temple one evening just to see it.  We had no idea that it was pageant weekend or that it would be so crazy!  We didn't end up staying for the pageant because it had been a cool day (60's and rainy) and we didn't have any blankets or really much to keep us warm in the cool evening.  (we didn't see the rows upon rows of chairs that we probably could have sat in!) 

After moving here it was a little too crazy and the thought of going with 2 little ones wasn't that thrilling so we didn't go.  Last year we contemplated it but it doesn't start until 8pm so we decided to wait another year. 

I'm so glad we went this year!!!

 

We packed a picnic dinner and got there right around 6pm.  It was beautiful weather and the kids enjoyed just hanging out side!!

 

Cast members were walking around the grounds with programs and taking pictures with people!  It was really cool!

 

Maryn had to have a turn on Daddy's Kindle Fire doing a puzzle!

The boys ended up playing Angry birds Space to help pass the time as well!

I think this was the boys favorite part!  We caught up to these two and they even let the boys try out the whip on a chair!!

It was a great night and a great way to remember what this Easter season is all about!!!
