What a beautiful day for soccer! It's been nice and clear and sunny the past few Saturdays which has let Ethan really enjoy his soccer. The team has been getting better at playing together too. We played this team the first game of the season and they clobbered us! This time we scored tons of goals before they got their first. No, we don't really keep score but it's interesting to see how much better the boys are getting at playing. Ethan still has a hard time remembering to just go after the ball, instead he has a tendency to guard the ball and keep other players from getting to the ball. It makes for a very funny game! We're working on getting him to go for the ball but oh well! It's good practice for Basketball or even Football! We just need to get him a little more coordinated before moving on to the other sports!!! Here are a few pictures from this week's game! You can see him working on keeping the other kids from the ball!
The last picture is one where Ethan missed the ball and had to try again to kick the ball.

Those pics are great of Ethan blocking the kids away from the ball! So funny!! :) Addie's t-ball season is ending off with soccer (since they get sick of tball by the last couple of weeks anyway!) I've always loved watching little kids play soccer! Ethan looks like such a cute little athlete!! He'll have to teach Addie some moves!! :)
It's too funny to watch! We always have to remind him not to use his elbows! Oddly enough soccer is a contact sport! Ethan would love to teach Addie some moves! He loves to play with any kids anywhere around his age!
