We flew out of Phoenix on Sunday morning. The flight was so full that it was quite uncomfortable! Oh well, the thought of beautiful Hawaii made it bearable! By the time we got from the airport and got checked in with our room key, and schedule and welcome gifts it was close to time for dinner so we got ready early and headed down to the beach! We walked on the beach then headed for a great welcome dinner buffet! It was fun to be there but so hard to believe!!!

The welcome dinner! It looked cooler in person! They had every tree lit up in a different color and tons of great food!!
They even had live music! No big luau show but some fun music!
This is one of the spiders we saw while we were walking around the resort before dinner!
One of the many gecko lizards we saw! I think this one was one of the biggest ones! the others were so tiny!
Our big TV in our room! I'm proud to say it only came on once after the Bronco game so we could see a few highlights!!!
By the end of the day on Sunday we'd each received 3 Lei's! I had 3 flower ones and Travis had 2 flower ones and one made from some sort of leaf. They were pretty cool!!
