So, the boys woke up around 3am Christmas morning and sneaked downstairs to look at their presents. Thankfully I heard them and sent Travis down to get them back to bed. (We had only been sleeping for a few hours and the babies had already woken us up at least once!) They went back to their room but didn't go back to sleep until about 5am! Maryn woke up at 6:30 and after she'd been up for a while and Ashlynn was up, we sent her in to wake up the boys!
We headed downstairs while Gwendolyn slept to see the presents that the boys had already seen! It was fun nonetheless! Santa brought Maryn a Barbie trike, Cayden a dinosaur playset and a new bike helmet, and Ethan an Air Hogs remote control helicopter as well as a new bike helmet. They were all happy with their gifts and had a great morning!
I think we might have set a record for how fast we had everything opened! Cayden was always asking and trying to open another present so we really just handed them out and said go for it! It was chaotic but fun!
We had homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast and really spent the rest of the day in our pj's playing with all our gifts! It was a fun and relaxing day! Santa brought the family the new Wii sports resort game with the new controllers and the Super Mario Bros Wii so that was the main activity of the day! It is soo much fun and we are having a great time competing together!
