School program, Temple lights and Christmas Eve...

Ethan's school had a winter festival type night and the 2nd graders had a singing portion of the night! It was fun to see Ethan so tall up there on the back row with all the other kids. He liked to keep his hands in his pockets and lean against the wall but he did great! After the concert we had hot chocolate, got grinch hats and rode the little train they had going outside! It was a fun little night.

The week of Christmas Travis didn't have to work so we did all sorts of stuff! On Monday, before it got too cold we headed to the Mesa Temple to look at the lights. It was quite crazy and chaotic because they also had a concert that ended just after we got there so there were a LOT of people! It was great though with lights in the citrus trees and in the palms. They had scenes of Mary and Joseph traveling, Isiah prophesying about Christ's birth, the shepherds and the wise men traveling. It was a fun night and Cayden even said "it was the best night ever!"

Christmas Eve day we decorated the gingerbread tree while the girls all slept and then opened Christmas pj's after dinner so they could wear them while we drove around our neighborhood looking at lights. Cayden really didn't enjoy looking at the lights but Ethan and Maryn loved it and thankfully, the babies slept!
