Holy cow!

So, last year, it was Father's Day, stake conference and I was in labor!  Didn't really know it but I was.  By dinner time I decided I should call the dr. so I did after the kids were eating.  She wanted me to come in as soon as I could.  So, I didn't know many people in our ward yet and the couple I knew were out of town so I called Bishop!  Instead of suggesting someone who lived close to us that might help, his wonderful wife came up to sleep at our house.  By the time we were on our way to the hospital, all the kids were in bed and Maryn was asleep!  When we got to the hospital I learned that my Dr had kept checking with the triage to see if I was there yet.  I told her it would be a little while before we got there but she must have thought we were magical or something!  At the hospital they told me I was fully dilated!  Now for me that was a shock seeing as I had never gone into labor on my own or been able to handle contractions very far in to labor without an epidural!  Even with all that labor the girls were taken by C-section due to Ashlynn laying sideways and not cooperating!  At 12:07 and 12:11 Ashlynn and Gwendolyn came into our lives and changed it drastically! 

I never realized how much fun it would be to have twins!  They are so much fun and it is so exciting as they grow and we can see how different they really are!  It's hard to believe that it's been a year since they were born but it has and we have survived!  Now on to the toddler years!  Happy Birthday to our beautiful baby girls!  We love you so much and our family wouldn't be complete without you!
