During Spring break, one of our big things to get done was to paint the boys room! They had pencil, crayon, marker and who knows what else all over their walls and the paint was a flat builders paint that was totally unwashable so it had to go. It's taken us way too long to get it done but I'm happy to say, it's done, it looks great and we did it during the babies nap time!!!
The color they picked was deepest aqua. They like it because during the day it is more blue and then at night it looks more green. I like it because it's semi-gloss and totally washable!!
Painting the boys room got us in the mood and the painting bug hit! The Monday after spring break I decided to take on the half-bath. It just needed a pick-me up and with the kids always in there playing in the water or washing their hands (or both!) it needed some love! I'm happy to say I did the majority of it myself during naptime!! Maryn enjoyed watching me and just hanging out while I worked and Travis was great and finished it up when he got home. We even switched the rugs and towels because the red we had in there before was a little too dark! I love it and feel so much more grown up now that we have some color on our walls!!
Next up: Maryn's room is turning purple! Just not this weekend! :)

LOVE it! Paint/color makes such a HUGE difference! All my favorite rooms in my house are the ones I've gotten around to painting!
We've been painting too and it's amazing how differently I feel after I start to make my mark on a house. I want it keep it in order to show it off :-) The rooms look great! Good work!!!
